Annmarie Lanesey
Annmarie Lanesey is a video, performance, and installation artist. Her work has been shown internationally at galleries, new media festivals, and contemporary art venues, both in the physical world and in cyberspace, including the Institute of Contemporary Art in London, Museo de Arte Moderno in Buenos Aries, Argentina, The Center for Contemporary Art in Tel Aviv, Israel, and at the 11th International Media Art Biennale, in Wroclaw, Poland. Annmarie recently returned to her alma mater Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute as an adjunct faculty member in the Art Department where she received her BS in Electronic Media Art in and Communication in 2001 and her MFA in Electronic Art in 2004. In addition to 'Sitting on a Million', Annmarie is currently working on a single channel video about rainbows, as well as the Excelsior Avenue Residency Project.
